Kouchner's wish

Earlier this week Bernard Kouchner said that the first problem he would direct the new administration to would be the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, though it had been unclear whether Obama was interested in diving into that minefield so quickly. But an excellent article in The Sunday Times claims that he is now prepared to launch a major push for the Saudi peace plan, effectively an Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights and the Palestinian territories in exchange for normalized relations with all Arab countries. Though if Netanyahu's website works as well as Obama's, that could throw things back to square one...
